But I am a stubborn old witch and will probably try it a bit longer and just continue my whining.
I don't really like the added weight from the hose cozies anyway.
I did forget to add that I do have the hose in a hose cozy. I can't stand feeling the plastic hose next to me, so I always have the hose in a hose cozy.

But truth be told: The cozy I use is not one of Padacheek's heavy duty and heavy weight ones. It's an el cheapo one made out of rather lightweight fleece, so it doesn't add any significant weight.

Good luck regardless of what you decide to try, including breaking your own rule (and mine) about only changing one thing at a time.

I realize I am also a newbie at this, but I could never imagine going back from an Aircurve to an Airsense.
I have been using ASV for 11 years now, started with a PR 960.
The only time I experienced rainout was when I added humidity to me O2 concentrator. I do have an empty water chamber almost every night.

I also know that I may not have succeeded without guidance from Pugsy and Robysue when I first started and every time I changed machines, Not to mention when I got advice from sleep doctors. I usually had to do the opposite of what they told me to do.
I do have some experience with the Airsense 11. my wife has been using hers for a year now. Her Average AHI is 1.19 for the year. The Airsense 11 almost always has water left in the chamber in the morning. Our machines sit about 5 feet apart so similar environment.

Soft response doesn't seem to be a choice option when in the "for Her" mode.
Soft Response isn't available in For Her mode, because For Her Mode is already in Soft Response mode and can't be set to Standard Response.

Yeah I figured as much. Still can't say as I noticed it really doing anything or not.
The main things I see with the for Her mode are the FLs being made to be mountains out of molehills and the way the algorithm creates a new minimum pressure when certain conditions are met. For my own personal thoughts.....not a deal maker or breaker for me but I do like the idea of that new minimum being set if the criteria is met.

I used the Eclipse last night (did break a rule and increased humidity to 7 along with mask change). About the same amount of use as the night before (at around 9 1/2 hrs) but didn't use as much water. AHI was a bit higher but not unexpected as I had a rough night pain wise so didn't sleep as good and the flow rate shows it.
Very minor leak and at it's worst was only around 19 L/min and even then only for a handful of minutes twice during the night.

When I experimented with FH mode, I didn't feel any difference, but I don't think I'm prone to feeling increases of decreases in pressure.

But my history showed my AHI slightly higher and although the increases were gentler, they often gort higher than Standard mode.

Quick update on the condensation issue.
Looks like I can manage humidity setting at 6 and no rain out with above parameters but some rain out with the setting of 7.
So far I seem to be able to deal with the minor drying of the nasal mucosa with only a little bit of allergy like symptoms (mainly sneezing but some congestion and runny nose). I don't have those symptoms with a setting of 7 for humidity but I am getting rain out. Sigh.....always something.

Hi, I have the same problem with my nasal mucosa as you. When I used the AirSense 11 AutoSet, I had the same problems as you. I tried to solve the problem of insufficient heating of the hose by adding another heating cable under the hose cover. But this did not solve the problem, because in the morning my humidification container was completely dry. My nasal mucosa did not like it. The problem is that the hotter your hose, the more humidification you will need, and the AirSense 11 AutoSet has a humidification container that is too small. After that, I changed my device to the BMC G3 A20. In this device, the hose is hot and has a larger water container that does not dry out in the morning, but the fan is worse, and it does not support Oscar. Currently, my BMC G3 A20 is broken, I suspect that it is because I filled the fan with water, because I poured too much water into the humidification container. Just don't ban me, please, I was just trying to share similar problems.

Just catching up here and thx Pugsy for all. Not a frequent poster, as eyes are bad and someone reads this to me(Just did a post on Insomnia) so I do thank all the posters here for such great info, but it never occurred to me to alter the humidity setting, its always been on auto, particularly as Im in florida and had issues with my eyes being dried out and in one respect, I have the drying out eyes issue whereas you have the nose issues. So fully understand. Recently it's been cold and the RH has dropped to the 40's but at times the humidity can go in the 60's.........I did buy a humidity machine that spurts out water vapor and meant to assist, can't say I noticed. I will ask someone to assist and alter th settings, when I can get some sleep. Thx.
