No signal on my Resmed 10
No signal on my Resmed 10
Hi all….having an issue with my resmed 10. The last couple of days it’s been showing no signal. Has never been an issue prior. It’s not in airplane mode. I’m assuming it’s because of the upgrade in our service from 3G to 4 G. My Remed is a 3 G. And the wife’s is a 4G. And yes. Hers is in the same room. My question is. Can I have mine upgraded to 4g or do I have to buy a new machine.

Service changed from 3G to 4G in about 2016. How old is your machine?robo61 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 5:10 amHi all….having an issue with my resmed 10. Re: No signal on my Resmed 10
No.
In the US, depending on the carrier, 2G was sunsetted in the 2017-2020 time frame.
3G was sunsetted in 2022
Likely, although 3g was sunsetted in 2022, the carriers didn't go around turning towers off. 3g was no longer supported and the phase out initiated.
Good Luck, but this doesn't sound accurate.
Updating an Air10 from 3G to 4G, is a physical update. 3G devices have stopped communicating with ResMed since 2022. Not once have I seen anyone reported that their machine was updated to a 4G machine. There was an Air10 4G supply chain problem, thus the Card-to-Cloud devices, without modems.
It's also strange that you got a new machine in 2022 that was 3G? The 4G Air10 devices had been out for a while, sending out a 3g machine in the same year it was being sunsetted doesn't make sense.
You can tell the the date of manufacture by the serial number, the 3rd and 4th digits. There is also an indicator in the manufacturing info on whether it's a 3g or 4g modem.
