Logic fail. He did not say human frailty is restricted to a single employer.

Never trusting a government employee is a practice that you will never regret following.

You could say "trust but verify" is a better policy. But that is really not "trust".

Well, actually, I was a government employee once (US Army incl. combat duty) and I trusted all my comrades (who interestingly were all government employees).

Sorry to hear that. We've heard so many shooting incidents, especially in schools. Government should pay more attention the school security and measures needed to be taken. Maybe install metal detector at the entrance and have security guards.
