Red Smiley Face on LCD Screen ?
Red Smiley Face on LCD Screen ?
I awoke from my Nap today to find a Red Smiley Face Glaring at me from the LCD screen. First one I have seen since starting using the s9 auto set. I checked into the Info screen and it said my Mask Fit was Good with a Green smiley Face. Does anyone know why the Red Smiley Face would be there ? My AHI was good ( 1.9 ). Thank you
Re: Red Smiley Face on LCD Screen ?
You were in large leak territory (over 24 L/min) for more than 25% of your nap. AHI can be unreliable when you see Mr Red Frowny Face.

Re: Red Smiley Face on LCD Screen ?
Mr Red Frowny face shows up when the time in large leak is 25 % or more during the session/night/nap.
So for over 25% of the time the leak was 24 L/min or more.
Mask fit may have been fine but something caused a leak somewhere. Something moved.
If a short nap like 2 hours.. 30 minutes or more spent above 24 L/min.
Depending on how long of a segment the AHI may not be accurate during the time of large leak.
In the example above with say 30 minutes in large leak...depending on how far above 24 L/min your AHI may not be accurate during those times. If say 26 L/min...probably didn't impact things that much. Now if 35 L/min the the machine may not have been able to sense events and thus give a false low AHI during the time of large leak.
