Airfit F10 Review
This is just my observation after one night of use. I was really comfortable all night; sleepyhead reported 2.2 AHI and some large leaks that I slept through. I think I need to spend a few more nights with it to learn the proper strap adjustment since this mask does not have the forehead arm, thus the upper straps need to be adjusted differently. I really like not having straps around the upper part of my head. I was hoping that I could wear my glasses with it, but they really don't fit very well over the mask. In a pinch I could use them if I really needed to, but I like to read in bed and I miss that. I'm afraid to do it now, because if I fall asleep while reading I won't have the mask on. I will keep the mask, I had been using Quattro Air, which feels good on my face, and since F10 uses the same cushion I don't have to adjust to that.

I've been waiting for some time for Karen to get that leak strap design finished...

Re: Airfit F10 Review
Isn't the mask supposed to be designed to enable wearing glasses? I'm planning to order the mask in the next few weeks and this is what I was expecting.

The Airfit F10 uses the same cushion as the Quattro Air. So, even tho it doesn't have the forehead piece, the mask still comes up close to the eyes making if difficult if not impossible to wear glasses.frapilu wrote:Isn't the mask supposed to be designed to enable wearing glasses? Re: Airfit F10 Review
I had hoped so, but it's really hard because at the top of the nose this mask is really thick, and my glasses ride a little funny, so I can't comfortably use it to read for any length of time. I can put them on briefly if I need to check something out. I do like the mask though; I feel so free without a strap around my head above my eyes.

Ah yes, that makes sense. But given that you've got it in your equipment tagline, I'm guessing you like it anyway?flyingwithoutwings wrote:The Airfit F10 uses the same cushion as the Quattro Air. That sounds good. I will definitely order it in the next few days. Have to plan the order around my having to go pick it up in the US since cpap.com is not allowed to ship it to Canada.library lady wrote:I had hoped so, but it's really hard because at the top of the nose this mask is really thick, and my glasses ride a little funny, so I can't comfortably use it to read for any length of time. Yes, I do like it, I just don't read in bed. I also like the Quattro Air which I recently got. Haven't decided which one I like better.frapilu wrote:Ah yes, that makes sense. I love the Quattro Air but would love not to have that forehead thing, which is why the AirFit F110 interests me.flyingwithoutwings wrote:Yes, I do like it, I just don't read in bed. I do read in bed but never with my mask. I only put apap stuff on when I'm going to sleep. Would also like the option to slip on my glasses to try the mask fit feature on my apap.
Thanks

Re: Airfit F10 Review
My hubby has been using the F10 for a few weeks & he loves it. His leak line looks great too, almost no leaks. He says it is much more comfortable than his previous mask, the PR FullLife. Basically this mask is a big hit for him, his favorite mask so far.

Re: Airfit F10 Review
My leak line has been really good with the F10 also except for the first night when I probably didn't have the mask fitted just right... new mask design = new fitting regime. But I think I've got it down now, and I just feel so free with the forehead arm and top strap!

Re: Airfit F10 Review
This is the only mask I've ever used except for one in the sleep study.
Sleep Mapper reports my mask fit as 99-100% every night - I wonder how that relates to the leak data.
It appears my leak line is pretty good but I don't have this chart completely figured out - comments?

Re: Airfit F10 Review
Is this graph from Sleep Mapper? It looks similar to a graph in Encore Basic, even so, I can't quite follow the 3 line distinction. My best guess is the leaks don't go past the 14.0 mark, which by my guess might indicate 14% ? This is just a guess, which assumes the bottom line is the leak line - I'm not sure that is the case here? Maybe one of our data experts (Pugsy?) could weigh in on this & we could all learn something.sc0ttt wrote:This is the only mask I've ever used except for one in the sleep study.

Re: Airfit F10 Review
Nope, SleepyHead. Sleep Mapper doesn't have a leak chart but it keeps track of "mask fit" with units of "percent"... so I guess 100% mask fit means no leaks over some pre-set and hidden threshold.jencat824 wrote: Is this graph from Sleep Mapper?
