Comfort Lite 2 Mask & APAP?

Post by ffarmer » Fri Aug 07, 2009 3:35 pm

Hi All,
I was searching the internet for leak rates for my Comfort Lite 2 mask and saw on a Respironics site that they only recommend this mask for CPAP and Bi-level use. I am on APAP. Is anyone else using it with APAP?

I have the same machine you have. I usually use mine in cpap mode(I do better that way). I do occasionally switch to apap to be sure my pressure is optimal for me. I have used the CL2 with the machine in cpap and apap with no problems at all.

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for your reply. I have been using the mask in APAP mode but I don't know enough about all of this to know if there is a problem. I'm still curious as to why Respironics does not recommend it for APAP.
Anyone else have thoughts/opinions on this?
