Can anyone tell me what mask setting to put for the opus 360, on an S8 vpap? I have the swift displayed, but it is showing to much leakage to register.
Thank You.

Re: S8 Mask Setting
On the S8 machines I believe ResMed says for non ResMed machines to just choose "standard" or whichever it is that doesn't point to a specific ResMed model. Swift nasal pillows are of course similar to the Opus 360 and the vent rate will be very similar. It will get you very close.
If you are having too much leak to register then the problem isn't the mask selection choice. The problem is in the leak itself. Mask selection feature only makes minor adjustments to the vent rate for mask and pressure before reporting the excess leak.
If mask isn't leaking perhaps a hole in the hose or something like that.

Re: S8 Mask Setting
There is a useful pdf you can download here: http://www.resmed.com/us/assets/html/pr ... c=patients
It shows Resmed masks only and the settings for the various Resmed machines, but if you can look up the vent rate for your non-Resmed mask at your pressure, you can find which Resmed mask is most similar to yours and go from there. (Usually the vent rate chart is in the user info that comes with your mask; if not you can find it online at the manufacturer's website.)
Edit: From what I can see, "Swift" is the correct setting, but "Standard" would also work. Vent rates for Opus 360 are almost the same as for Swift LT at same pressures. Pugsy was right on without even seeing the charts.
