ResMed Cleanable Water Tank

Post by Trivium91 » Mon Aug 26, 2024 9:16 am

Hey Guys, im waiting for this new cleanable water tank to arrive. I’ve heard you can use regular water in it, is this true? I was hoping i can use my RO water in it. My RO water does have a re-mineralization filter but when measured as in a glass of water it’s still only 20-30PPM. Other than that, it’s just dishwasher safe? Is that the only difference?

The dishwasher safe thing is the only real difference. Other than that there is no other special property.

Any potable water is safe in any CPAP humidifier.

I've used distilled water from the beginning. I do clean with vinagar as required but other than that I rinse it out with my RO system and let it air dry. I clean all connectors. I've used the same tank for a full year without any issues.
