Looking for ideas to help mouth breathing

Post by RE144 » Wed Aug 28, 2024 3:06 pm

I have already switched to a full face mask, tried taping mouth, , using chin strap that helps a bit but still leaking air.

I have recently noticed my jaw also falls down , so added a foam collar and that has helped a lot.... numbers much better. I also have sensitive skin so I have added padacheek parts to mask. I also had to add a tissue behind the edges of the foam collar to stop it from rubbing....

I would like to find some other way of not using the chin strap with all the other changes...

A friend suggested a mouth guard but there are sooooo many different ones listed.....

Any suggestions on one that works or something else I am not aware of ???

Given that you're using a FF mask, is there a particular reason you want to avoid mouth breathing?

What was it about tape that didn't work for you?

Problem is mustache with tape and I have sensitive skin , putting the tape on and off everyday gave me red itchy bumps and somehow air still leaked.....

My nub ers are good now but I would like to lose the chin strap
