I am new to the group. Thanks for adding me.
I am going to be traveling and I would like to buy a couple of battery packs. The Medistrom ones are much more expensive than other battery packs of a similar capacity. It also must be under 100 watt hours to be airline approved.
Does anyone have any experience using a USB-C battery pack with the Airmini? I can purchase the cable online ,but I am unsure of how well it all will work.
Thanks

Re: Airmini and USB-C battery
IDK the "Freedom CPAP Battery 160" claims to be FAA approved for in-cabin and they say it's 160 Watt hours - 60 more than Medistrom Pilot. It's been a while since I flew anyplace but seems like the limit pre-covid was 100 or 120 WH? Maybe they changed the rules ... this new Freedom model seems like a contender if it's actually cabin legal. Looks like it also has a combo adapter for AS10 & AS11 & AirMini also included.Notsotired wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 8:40 pmI am new to the group. Thanks for adding me.

Apparently with airline approval (however that works) the limit for carry on is up to 2 batteries up to 160 WH each. Seems like you could get shut down though depending on the airline. 100 WH is the safe limit allowed everywhere.

Re: Airmini and USB-C battery
Thanks for the info. 160wh would be nice but I am afraid that I would get stuck not being able to bring it on an airplane somewhere during a trip. Even if I confirmed it with the airline in advance, somebody checking people in at the gate my have a different opinion.
