Why bother drying your water tank, unless you are traveling with it? It's meant to hold water. Water droplets from washing won't cause mold if you are refilling and using it daily.

They might cause water spots if you have hard water. Who cares?

Wash it, shake out the water and put the water tank back in your machine. I think it would be just as fine if you (wash it if you must) then shake out most of the water and refill it every morning, so it's ready for bedtime.

When packing my machine, I empty the tank and stuff a new paper towel inside.
No rubbing, patting or fussing--which may dislodge fibers.
On arrival, the damp paper towel can be used to wipe down anything dusty.
Waste not--want not.

Hi, I am having the same problem with fibers in my air sense 11. Did you ever solve this problem? If so, please let me know how.

I am pretty sure it is the filter because when I took it out after 2-3 months it was much thinner than the filter I was going to put in. You could practicality see through it in spots! My husband has an air sense 10 and his filters don’t do this and he has only very slight lint/fibers. I think it is because the air intake on the airsense 10 is much larger than the 11.

The CPAP center has not been helpful, but they did recently order a “hypoallergenic” filter for me- I am waiting for it to arrive and will see if that solves the problem.

Take one of your husbands Air10 filters cut it down to the size of your Air11 ports and use it. If the fibers go away, it was the
