water tank lid won’t close tightly

i found the slide that locks the lid shut jammed to where it won’t slide back to allow the lid to shut tightly. i took gray cover off and found a plastic spring on inside broke and lodged inside. works now but with only one spring but at least lid now shuts

So complain to the company.
