How should I set my humidity

Post by kong » Sun Oct 06, 2024 10:48 am

How should I set my humidity on the ResMed Airsense 11 Autoset? Traditionally, I've set it for automatic climate control and that's been fine. However, my mouth and sinuses have been dry the last few weeks, possibly due to me having a cold. What number should I set it on so that it's more humid without me feeling water on my face? Thanks for your help.

It's hard to say what to use for a specific individual, so I'd try a small difference to what you've done recently to see if it helps for e.g. a week or two, then increase it if necessary for longer term.

unfortunately, it's very much a personal thing. if you want to see a very specific example of just how individual, see my thread here-

or don't, it has 38 replies and does nothing to answer your question. many times, it's trail and error when you start choosing a temp and humidity combination. I can't remember offhand just what combo is used in the auto setting.

someone will be along shortly with some guidance.

good luck!

but that's enough about them.
