New user coughing Luna 3 APAP

Hello. I’m in the Philadelphia area. I started using cPAP because of heart problems. My circulation is poor. My lifestyle and eating habits are healthy. I self diagnosed the apnea and had a home device to confirm it. I did not have a lab study done. I have woken up frequently because of coughing. I suspect my Luna 3 is not filtering the air sufficiently. I’m not sure what to do. Is it the device, do I need a better machine? Do I need a lab study? Is my home too polluted with particulate matter in the air? Any suggestions?
