Ebay and CPAP sales

Post by Janelle » Thu Jan 20, 2005 9:19 am

Looks like folks on Ebay are still selling CPAPs. Some alone, in spite of the directive andprohibition, and some "through the back door". They take auctions on the Bag or the Power Cord and let them sell the machine, etc. as a bonus "gift". Hmm

Janelle,

What you see listed on eBay can be deceiving. They have a rather unusual policy regarding "banned" items. Anyone is free to list any item they want. Then eBay relies on it's users to police what belongs and what doesn't. An auction for a banned item may show up for days and show many bids before some user reports the listing and it gets canceled. An auction may even be concluded and the high bidder has paid for the item before eBay will "cancel" the auction, essentially wiping it from existance. I hate to see anybody get "stuck" paying and not receiving. Buyer Beware!
Sincerely,

Just my 2 cents.

Last week I ordered a new mask, a chin strap, and some filters from CPAP.COM.

I am an avid eBay user.

My next purchase will be again with CPAP.Com.

The purchase was handled great, delivery was fast and I am happy.

I can't really say that always happens on eBay. I have never been stuck on eBay but sometimes it doesn't go as smoothly as you would like.

It was from my order that I found you fine folks and this forum.
