healthcare specialist trying to keep up to date

Post by wandaRN » Sun Jan 30, 2005 2:27 am

I'm a nurse that's worked for Lincare for about 3 years. Living in a sparsley populated area, I've had to learn about CPAP where ever I can. This is a great site! Maybe I can tald to other health care specialists AND patients to be more effective. Hello to all and here's hoping I can talk to some of you

Welcome wanda,

Alway great to see a medical profesional on the forum. This is an excellent place to learn about the failures and successes of actual cpap users. You will find how we all get through another day using our machines. Please post any comments you can offer or ask questions as you like.
You are to be commended for seeking out this information for the benefit of your patients and yourself.
Sincerely,
wading thru the muck of the sleep study/DME/Insurance money pit!

Hi Wanda,

Let me also welcome you.

If experience counts for something, then there are a lot of people on this forum whose experience rivals many professionals, in my opinion. People like Wading up here and others on this forum are not only knowedgable but a great source of comfort and understanding which is sorely needed by us sleep apnea sufferers. This site is also a great reminder to keep at the treatment, even when you do something so STUPID like decide not to use your cpap for one nite (like I just did). I can expect a scolding for it, but nonetheless I'm always grateful for this forum.
