Re: New to APAP

Just wanted to follow up with some new charts and see if my thoughts are headed in the right direction. I have still been having a hard time getting through the night. I have been trying various masks, which could be a detriment more than anything, but I seem to wake several times and then give up. I have found the N20 to be the most comfortable, but also prone to leaking when I lay on my side which wakes me up. Tried to Bleep mask last night, and while I thought I would love it, I don't.
I find it strange that I am not having much OA at all, but I do believe RERA or hypopneas is what is probably waking me up. My breathing waves shallow out and my SpO2 drops, which I believe is the cause of waking. Is this considered a hypopnea even if the machine doesn't flag it?
The WatchPAT home test said I was at 16 AHI. Is it possible that 7 - 8.4 cm of pressure is enough to keep OA and other events from happening which zeroes out my AHI? AHI is good, but sound stable sleep is not. Because of my low pressure numbers, I am beginning to wonder if I was mis-diagnosed, haha.
Plan for tonight is to either set 7.4 - 8.4 as my range, or set as CPAP of 8.0. Keeping EPR at 2 has managed my CA events so will keep it there.
