Post by akcpapguy » Mon Oct 05, 2009 2:23 pm

Canada...I can't say anything nice, so I won't say anything at all.

So many cats, so few recipes.

I hope they will update the UMFF and give it a cushion like that. I'd love to try it!

Also interesting that there's no mention of the Swift EFX but they've already posted this on the website.

Thanks - it looks a bit like the ResMed Mirage Activa LT Nasal CPAP Mask. I used the ResMed Mirage Activa with Headgear - Standard – great mask, comfortable, no leaks and leaves no sores on my nose or strap marks on my face. If I need to try a new mask, I might give this new one a try before I try the LT.

It has the forehead dial control like the Quattro which can only be a plus.
I see nothing to tempt me away from my Swift LT here

It is the Activa LT with a different cushion. It's supposed to be "ConvertAble". How's that for some marketing???

It would be nice if ResMed and other manufacturers would make petite sizes in some of their more popular masks at least. Right now I'm limited to the Swift LT and the Flexifit 406. F&P did introduce a petite size in the Zest mask, and Respironics makes a petite in the ComforGel nasal, but that's it. Further, there are no petite FFMs. Even the XS Quattro is too big for me! It's a real bummer to see new masks coming out only in sizes which are too big....

I'll be wanting to try the Swift FX when it comes to market in the US. Let's hope they make better pillows than the latest for the LT!

twokat,

Have you tried the Mirage Kidsta, it is a mask sized and marketed for children, but if it fits your face it fits your face is what I say.

Just remember, clinicians, the power is no good unless you can use it.

The new softget uses the same frame as the Activa LT.I am using the Activa myself and have a Activa LT on order.I see we can use all 3 cushions on this frame.Cuts down prices when you only need to buy cushions and not the whole set up.

That the phantom DME doesn't understand ol' Carbonman, just fits the DME mold.

Why would a DME listen to a stupid patient, anyway?
