I tape my mouth often with nasal pillows. But have several times taped my mouth, then do a trial to see how difficult it is to open if needed. I find it doesn't take that much pressure to pop the tape loose. Im completely confident if Im going to puke, my mouth would be open. The new 3M Kind tape is very good!

Interestingly enough the last time I saw my DME, I was told I would need a prescription specifying a full face mask (my original one was for a nasal mask), if I wanted to buy a full face mask. The reason: same as the one for taping - danger of aspiration if one was to vomit with a full face mask on.

Hello. If you are a mouth breather then definitely you are waking up with dry mouth, probably still feeling tired...mouth breathing is so detrimental to your health.
