Re: OT: Quarantine supplies
I heard at least some trucks are permitted empty runs now but it still costs the tricking company money. He might want to check this place when in the area. https://landline.media/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/200318-Sonic-drive-in.jpg https://landline.media/sonic-in-arkansas-features-drive-thru-for-b...

Re: OT: Quarantine supplies
I walked one of the kids down there to show him that worst case, we won't starve- he and his sister will just have to get a lot less picky, is all. And I'm perfectly okay with that. I told hubby the same thing I have told him over the past months when he looks in the fridge or the pantry..."there's...

Unfortunately more & more of government systems are being run like for-profit instead of service for the people. Education is one big one that comes to mind.raisedfist wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:25 pm
We never listen. We never prepare. Such is the case when entire systems are ran for profit.

Re: OT: Quarantine supplies
I'm all set--40 oz. Of Ghirardelli 60% cacao "baking" chips. None are intended for baking . . . Other than the obvious--dried pasta, and beans--and canned everything, any suggestions? Here, both Sams Club & Walmart are out of white flour for bread baking. Somebody in the UK said people were buying ...

Re: Ot-virus memes.
Somebody insisted to a hospital volunteer that rinsing your nasal passages with hydrogen peroxide would prevent the infection.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 9:12 amSome fools are buying into the notion that eating garlic will help.
Ummmm, not on a VIRUS, silly; but it can help with social distancing.

Re: Do nasal pillows and I just need to break up?
Hm. I don't feel like they're going up my nose, it's more the angle, which once I get that right they're totally fine and don't move at all and I don't even notice they're there. But maybe it's the headgear, I don't know at this point. I sort of wish they would give you a beginner's class for this....

Re: My deceased father's CPAP - safe?
It's safe, but it should be cleaned. You can use soap and water and possibly vinegar. Change the air filter(s), the hose, the mask, and the headgear (as you said you would do). So, you are telling the OP to use soap, water and possibly vinegar to clean the machine? Be careful when composing answers...

Re: My deceased father's CPAP - safe?
Is it safe to use with new tubing, reservoir and mask (which we have)? Or would the internal parts of the machine potentially be contaminated? They would be fine. Hopefully it is an AirSense 10 AutoSet. You may need guidance here aon adjusting pressures and interpreting OSCAR graphs. What about if ...
