Need a sleep doc in Orlando / Central Florida
Need a sleep doc in Orlando / Central Florida
Does anyone here from Orlando have a good sleep doc they can recommend from personal experience? I had a home sleep study ordered by my Cardiologist because I requested one, but he's not an expert on sleep apnea. Now that I've been diagnosed and put on CPAP, I figure I should start seeing a sleep doctor for future follow-ups.

Why do you need to see a sleep doc?PakWaan wrote: Now that I've been diagnosed and put on CPAP, I figure I should start seeing a sleep doctor for future follow-ups.

some people have a serious problem with excess money. it stacks up around their mansion and starts impeding their movement, not to mention obscuring the view when it starts to pile up against the windows.ChicagoGranny wrote:Why do you need to see a sleep doc?PakWaan wrote: Now that I've been diagnosed and put on CPAP, I figure I should start seeing a sleep doctor for future follow-ups.
these people need help to get rid of this, and taking a bucketfull on a regular basis to a 'sleep doc' is one good way to help reduce the excess.
I'm surprised a woman as worldly as yourself doesn't know about this terrible affliction!

I only see my sleep doc because I want to keep Medicare happy so they will continue writing checks.

Sounds like someone needs to see their proctologist.palerider wrote:[

My insurance requires 90 day compliance visits. Since my copay is only $35 no matter what doctor I see, I figure I may as well go to one who knows something about sleep apnea rather than my cardiologist.

I don't know if you want to come all the way up to DeLand but Dr. Dinkla at the Sleep Center at Florida Hospital is a neurologist and a sleep specialist. He started the center and he's a pap user himself. He's my doctor.

Actually, I'm in Sanford, so DeLand isn't very far. Thanks for the suggestion!tuzacat wrote:I don't know if you want to come all the way up to DeLand but Dr. Dinkla at the Sleep Center at Florida Hospital is a neurologist and a sleep specialist.
