What happened in Sleepyhead

Post by rudedogky » Wed Oct 29, 2014 6:49 am

I'm a new user of CPAP Therapy. I have used the machine for 12 days and have adjusted well. My AHI from the sleep study was 28.6. I have been prescribed a constant pressure of 16. I love the forum and all of the information and understanding that it provides. My problem is that it appears that Sleepyhead has doubled my readings from the first 3 nights. I have attached a summary that i completed this morning with a comparison to one that i did a few days ago. Does anybody have a clue what has happened?

I thought the double session bug was fixed. Bet Mark did too.
This is the first one I have seen with the new version.

Have you by chance changed the clock on the S9 recently?

Probably we should tell Mark about this.

For now go to the dates in question and scroll way down on the left side below all the statistics and you probably see more than 1 session...just turn off one of the sessions by clicking on the green box and have it turn red....if you turn off the wrong one your graphs will disappear on the right...so turn it back on and turn off the other one that doesn't cause the graphs to disappear.

It may or may not stick past a few days (the turning off the session trick).

Since i only have 12 days of data, i was able to purge the data file and import of the data again and all is well. I will definitely be backing up my SD card periodically!

If it happens again we need to know about it..or especially Mark (SleepyHead's creator) needs to know.
That happened in one of the older versions and he thought he had it fixed.
So far with this last version, you are the only person to report the double session bug....so if it happens again let Mark know.
I had it happen to me with the older version...but so far hasn't happened to me with my S9 now with this version.

I have the source-forge bug list, but don't see a way to submit a bug. Can somebody clue me in? I think that this is probably minor -- Flow Limit, Leak Rate and Snore all show 0.00 for the median in the left-hand summary section, although you can get those 3 graphs to display a line for the median, which is not zero (and looks right to the eye.) So obviously Sleepyhead knows what those medians are, they just aren't getting inserted into the table that's displayed.
