how do you get strap marks off your face inthe morning

My wife is new to this and wants to know of there is a way to speed up getting rid of the mask marks in the morning.

the eye roll is me, personally, I ignore them, but I do not wear makeup either.

Any suggestions?

Check padacheek.com for strap covers. Be sure that she is not tightening her mask too much.

Will do. I keep telling her that if it is leaking, she needs to loosen first then tighten it...... but I know she thinks that tighter is better.

Ice (or something cold) can help speed things up.

If your wife puts make up this maybe won't be useful. I don't put make up I'm naturally beautiful

I do 3 things,
1) I use Padacheeks on the straps and the cushion (for my full face Ultra Mirage),
2) I splash cold water on my face (on winter time it works well LOL
3) I put some hydrating cream on my face. Even when I don't put the cold water only the cream I have noticed the marks disappears faster (one hour max), other way it could last for a lot of hours YIKES !.

Switched from the Swift FX to the AirFit P10 and lost the strap marks. The Padacheek pads didn't work for me on the Swift FX, since they allowed the mask to slide around too much on my beard, and couldn't keep a seal. I sleep on my side, and move around a lot, so that's a problem for me. Not any more, though *smile*.

I keep a short beard on my face. Your wife probably does not want to go to that extreme.

I'll second the P10 recommendation. Once I found the right pillow size, I've had to feel my face in the night when I wake to make sure it's still on, it's that comfortable. I have no issue with the seal of the FX but the strap issues were a deal breaker for me

And here I love the FX. Can't be everyone's favorite. I use pad a cheek covers. Went from red marks to NONE. And during winter, the fleece covers are snuggly soft and stuff. Bonus.

Second on the P10 not leaving marks, but when I was working, and had the problem with other masks,
co-workers and supervisors would leave me alone until the marks faded. Not really a down side to that . . .

Buy a TapPap mask.......
