Post by redjohns12 » Thu Jun 16, 2016 11:04 am

every morning I wake up with water in my ear. It is not uncommon for it to wake me thru the night popping and cracking from the water. does anyone else have this? thank you

Sounds like a punctured ear drum. See an ENT doctor.

I do think it is a problem that is already there and cpap makes it worse. I found that turning the humidity down some helped reduce it. You could try that. Surprisingly though, I only get the problem when I have an excellent seal, such as when I am using nasal pillows (either mask). Don't get it with the Dreamwear mask which tends to be leaky. And no - no punctured eardrum, but I have some chronic ear problems that predate cpap.
