Any possible theories why the FLs would be still occurring under this scenario? They occur whether I am asleep or not.

Nasal congestion or a restricted airway for some reason or other is all I can think of.

This is why I say more pressure can't always reduce FLs and sometimes more pressure causes more problems than the FLs were causing.
