Apparently it's now available for sale but pricey.

Hmmm, wonder if 2ndWind is a stickler for prescriptions? Could easily get one I suppose but don't wanna invest the time getting a VA appt just to get a prescription to-go. Also wonder if there's a specific size gauge template? Learned my lesson on the F20 which seems to run consistently small-ish. I'd go out on that limb today if I knew how sizes are running and a 'scrip' wasn't required.

The big pack comes with all the sizes mask insert. I do have email out to then about sizing since I already use Dreamwear nasal cushions and just want the insert.

as I understood it the pack comes with all the components but only in one of 3 specified sizes, ie; S, M, & L while headgear remains medium. I'll keep an eye out for your update!

You would also need the head straps for the insert to make it work with your existing DreamWear frame and back strap.

So people who already have the DreamWear...and want to try this new full face insert...don't forget that you will need that lower/back strap too.

I just got home from picking it up from the DME. We did a quick trial run because they hadn't ever seen it either.
I can tell right now I need the small frame (which I have one) with it. Will get things swapped out in a bit and let you all know how it goes.
First impression under pressure at the DME office. The frame size isn't near as forgiving with the full face insert as it was with the cushion or gel pillows. I could make the medium frame work well enough to get by with the pillows but it was quickly obvious that would be the case with this new insert thing.

I look forward to your after sleep review of it. VA RT said they usually get new masks 6 months after they come out. Would be nice to have both assuming full face mask works well

I will let you all know how it goes.
I can tell right now that initial seal adjustment is going to be trial and error. Probably like it was with the Amara View...get close and then make minor adjustments and then once you are done adjusting it does have magnet snap for closing so minimal need to mess with the adjustments once you get it like you want it.
It took me 3 or 4 nights to get the Amara View situated to my liking.

My first impression though....darn nice little mask...for a full face mask.   I say that with a smile because most of you know I am a die hard nasal pillow user.
Compared to the other regular full face masks...this one has a very minimal footprint on the face and we all know that "less on the face" is real important to me.

Those of you wondering about sizes...it appears to use the same sizing template as the Amara View or the DreamWear cushion.
So if you already have the DreamWear you should have that template if you didn't throw it away.

As I already have a Dreamwear mask and cushions/pillows, can I just order the FFM insert?

However, I'll wait until Pugsy has trialled it before making a decision. Leak rate will be a major factor.

For those people who already have the DreamWear with either the cushion or gel pillows ....you can use that frame but you will need.

1.....the insert
2.....different headgear You have to be able to anchor the insert somehow and you need the headgear with the magnetic clips

I just got up.
Leak city last night but I slept well enough. I need to have some coffee and then go pull the SD card and see just how much leak city.

It wasn't unexpected and I am not sure of what to do about it...the small frame and the small insert...the small frame is still a bit too large and I need to try to figure out how to snug it up. It's not so much the lower straps...it's the overall size of the small frame with the insert that just wants to move around.

When it doesn't move around though...I barely knew the mask was there.
More detailed report to follow and I will probably start a new thread and call it a Review thread because as time goes by others will be trying it and we can put all those types of real user experience in that thread instead of this one that is already getting long and difficult to sort through.

So let me get my coffee and go see just how bad the leaks were and then compose a real review and post it.

First impression...I imagine it will be like every other mask out there.
Some will love it and some will hate it.
I do think there will be more lovers than haters though. I am super hard to please when it comes to a full face mask and I can say that I was very pleased with it last night.
The leaks and the frame size...well that happens when someone is tiny like I am. I am just not a very big person...4 ft 11 and still wear a size 4 wedding ring. So that gives you an idea. I wear a very small hat....my head isn't very big and it doesn't come as a big surprise to me that it may be a bit large in the frame department. I just gotta sit down and figure out how to try to make it smaller around.

Oh...before I forget...I hope they include those side cozies like they did with the gel pillows. The lines on my face this morning were awful. I forgot to put them on last night...they weren't included in the demo package I got. I gotta go find the ones I had that came with the gel pillow package I got a while back.

That's good to know.
My mask package was a DME Demo package...so I had everything except the little wraps.
I got all 3 sizes of frames and all sizes of the inserts but no side wraps.
It wasn't a typical retail package for sure. That's okay...I just have to go find my other little wraps. I am hoping they will snug things up a bit or well enough to limit the mask movement.

I just downloaded SH...leak city and then some.  I knew it was leaking bad but didn't realize just how bad.
I can't give it a good test until I can snug it up more. Gotta go find those side wraps....where in the blazes did I put them?????

Do the wraps have to be removed to adjust the velcro that controls the amount of strap tension?

I am going to go in to do a mask exchange and they want me to try the dreamwear full face mask. I am on high pressure bipap and have been having a hard time staying in compliance. I have tried a nasal mask and my sinuses we're burning, so I went to a ffm and my mouth was drying out, switched back to nasal with chinstrap and turned my humidifier and tubing to manual and I was doing okay but I have been leaking air like crazy. I was going to try my ffm but my dog got a hold of it and chewed it up within 40 seconds. I will leave a comment later on how it went.

Nope...not at all. The wraps are totally out of the way of anything that needs adjusting...or at least the wraps I have are.
I can't imagine that they changed the wraps.

Give me a little bit of time and I will find the wraps and get some pictures for everyone.

Things are a bit hectic in my house at the moment. Hubby is having some surgery today.

Well crap...can't find the original little covers that came with my DreamWear. So I found a Padacheek covers from something else that I think will do the trick.

Edit,,,,,,,still not able to snug it up at the top and keep it from falling forward. Trip to WalMart to the fabric section is in order....need some fleece and velcro strips that are tiny strips.
Adding the side covers helped some but not enough to suit me.
