Poor Puppy - Sleep Apnea
That poor puppy that died in the United Airlines bin! This breed is very prone to sleep apnea. Do you think sleep apnea was a contributing factor to his death?
Re: Poor Puppy - Sleep Apnea
CG... there was NO AIR in that bin! Who cares if the puppy had SA. The poor thing suffocated.

My husband says it is cruel to keep breeding dogs who are badly presuposed to sleep apnea.
Re: Poor Puppy - Sleep Apnea
Presupoesd? What happened to predisposed? But then look who I'm asking!

Leave it to Julie to misspell a misspelling.

For those who are really curious, the word is "predisposed".
Not that it really matters--everyone understood it.
The exact spelling is secondary to the meaning.
Nobody is writing technical papers here.
This is not school, and anybody who wants to go "Sister Yardstick"
probably needs to take a chill pill.

I figure they become fair game when they make a mistake correcting someone else.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:21 pmFor those who are really curious, the word is "predisposed".

Are you reading this correctly, CG? Julie said the correct word is, "predisposed".ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:29 pmI figure they become fair game when they make a mistake correcting someone else.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:21 pmFor those who are really curious, the word is "predisposed".

Pets, dogs, should not be allowed in the passenger cabin unless they are service dogs for blind people or veterans. Many people are scamming with fake service animals. Airlines and the government need to correct this nonsense.

There are people with *legitimate* medical needs besides blindness that legitimate service animals serve.

Re: Poor Puppy - Sleep Apnea
I like the policy most airlines use, and whose employees mostly know them; small pets that can fit under the seat in carry-on crates may accompany their owners. Animals too large must go elsewhere on the aircraft. Just because 'many' pedestrians jaywalk doesn't mean no pedestrians should be permitted near automobile traffic.
