I received the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask today. I spent some time trying the different sized pillows with different pressures. Does NOT work for me. The headgear is much too small for me. It makes the pillows painful. It is on the way back. I'm happy it had insurance.

Pugsy: I took your advice and ordered the Brevida Nasal Pillow Mask. It will be here on Friday.

The ResMed AirSense 10 is working out really well. The below screenshot is typical of the past couple of nights. Only woke once last night, that I remember, and that was for a bathroom break. I'm using Karen's anti-leak strap and it keeps things in place without making things too tight.

Pugsy: I now have it in APAP mode. Do you think I may benefit by switching to the "For Her" setting? Is there anything you see in the screenshot that would make you believe so?
Thank you,
Mike

I don't know that what we can see on the software reports will give us any hint as to what making the change to the for Her mode will or won't do.

I do know that if there are 2 OAs within a minute the machine will decide to increase the minimum on its own and it stays that way until the machine is turned off. I see it kick in sometimes but if I don't have 2 OAs close together it won't.
Can I tell any difference....no.
There has been a couple of people who had times where they needed more pressure and the for Her mode didn't deliver it for some reason or other. We saw a dense OA cluster but no pressure increase and to be honest never could figure out why because it appeared that all the other criteria for pressure increasing was met. Just a couple of people though...haven't seen it often.

All I can tell you is if you have a curiosity itch...scratch it if you want to. That's what I do about anything and everything when I can.
It's not so much that...for me anyway...that one therapy works out better or I sleep better, it's just something different to try and it works well. I have tried both modes and for me I can't tell any difference.
When I do have the 2 OAs close together and the new minimum takes place I won't see as much pressure variation the rest of the night but pressure variations have never bugged me and I never knew they happened until I see a report.

If you try it...use the exact same settings you are using now.
