So that's why I always ask how the person thinks they slept before I start saying the "more pressure" thing.
I'm really bad at the "how did you sleep" question.

I am trying to use a phone app so I can press a button if I wake up in the night, but I don't have my glasses on, so I can't see my phone, so I can't be sure I made a record.

I had really bad aerophagia a couple nights ago which caused a significant wake, and if my daytime sleepiness today is a good measure, then, no, I'm not sleeping well. (can't even count four words correctly)

When you wake up, tap the stop button on your ResMed, then immediately restart it. That will leave an indicator for you to see on your SleepyHead chart.

That will restart my ramp, won't it?

It will restart your ramp.

With your pressure, I don't know if that's desirable or not.

Lol - neither do I!

It is not very easy to reach - I keep the machine in the bottom drawer of my bedside chest. And I don't know that I want to go back to ramp - I will think about it though

Having heard that secondwindcpap don't need a prescription, I am considering buying myself an aircurve vauto.

I would value your thoughts on that.....

I've seen LSAT post a few for sale, but they are not nearly as common as the AirSense 10 AutoSets he has. Give him a shout.

I'll let the more experienced posters comment on the on how the therapy might apply to you.

Oh. Hmm.
From what I've heard, sometimes they 'forget' to ask for a Rx. if you have a copy of your existing rx... that might be 'good enough' for them.

I'd recommend calling 'em up and seeing what they say.

About seeing wake-ups on SH/Oscar: two ideas I’ve heard are to deliberately spike a leak to mark the spot, or to exhale deeply and sharply. I’ve tried both, and they’re pretty easy to see (on the leak chart or the flow chart) without zooming in.
Oscar software is available at https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

I second asking LSAT. I got my backup machine from him. Great price, low hours. No prescription needed. :)
