Yep PhD
Michael J. Breus, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist

and for those who can't keep straight in their minds as to who are medical doctors and can actually write a RX...psychologist or psychiatrist.

https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/fea ... -for-you#1

Only Psychiatrists are medical doctors and allowed to write prescriptions for anything.

The fact that this yahoo is a "diplomat" in something doesn't mean much IMHO. The crap he spouts tells us he doesn't know his you know what from a hole in the ground.

I thought that was a requirement to be a diplomat. ;)

Seems to be more of a palm-reader-slash-horoscope-interpreter kind of "doc."
. . . based on your hidden biological chronotype. Dr. Breus gives the reader the exact perfect time to have sex, run, a mile, eat a cheeseburger, ask your boss for a raise and much more. . . . -- https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/expe ... -breus-phd
Pretty talented if he can do all of that at the same time, though, I guess.

The difference is MEDICAL SCHOOL, an internship, legal certification.
Terminology is often intentionally confusing in order to take ADVANTAGE of people.
Take cpap model names for example--familiar, eh?

Maybe he's just jealous because I can legally choose pressures for myself but it is illegal for him to suggest pressures to me.

Why, thank you! I usually recommend keeping a bottle of panache handy to wash down any perfectly timed cheeseburgers, as dictated by one's hidden biological chronotype.

Interesting...

I don't believe ResScan is FDA approved either. It is FDA listed but that is about as far as it goes.

A better approach would be to offer instruction on how sleep works and what you can do with a CPAP machine can do. If the doctors enlisted everyone in a class of this type, additional support may not be needed as much.

He missed the point that if you make an adjustment and it makes your sleep worse, the report tells you this and you can readjust.

You've got to be kidding me... The solution is to use an auto-titrating machine? Did he not notice that most using CPAP on this forum have auto-titrating machines?

I agree with showing the data to your doctor, but a step was left out. First review your data, then make adjustments, then review again. Show your doctor before and after reports and see if the doctor can add anything else to the mix.

I found this statement on his AKTIVE site...

"These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent any diseases."

If a program that simply reports data from my CPAP machine is thought to be bad for me because it isn't FDA approved, what does that say about spraying chemicals into your mouth...?

I'm still acquiring a taste for panache. Working hard at it because it's so effective.

I decided to add my two cents to the idiot and asked him to contact Avast or Norton to get a proper definition of hacking. 8)

Actually he has the proper definition. Jedimark is a skilled programmer.
Breaking into systems is cracking, not hacking technically.
