I have one dog who is terrified of loud noises and one who gets pissed off and barks to tell the loud noise to STFU because it annoys her.
I live out in the country and wouldn't normally have fireworks problems but my nearest neighbor owns a fireworks stand and we have to deal with this crap year round. The louder the better in his eyes. Annoys the hell out of me. It starts getting really bad around mid May and it won't slow down until probably August.
Thunder shirts don't help my little Toby. He's a big wuss....even the washing machine changing cycles will send him under the bed. Poor little guy. Now Lucy...the little pug...she wants to kill the loud thunder and fireworks and cusses them out until it finally quits. So I have one dog barking like crazy and another trying to crawl under my skin for protection.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
