Your desat was at 1am... when you didn't have the mask on? Makes sense. Maybe I don't understand. The machine was off between 11:50pm and 02:00am... I always yank the mask off when the machine turns off.

I apologize if I'm not explaining this correctly. The report is with the mask on and cpap running. I wore the cpap from 11:32 - 2:19am.

"The machine was off between 11:50pm and 02:00am" where are you seeing this? I want to make sure I didn't post anything incorrectly. Thanks

If you look at the bottom left you see the four sessions recorded. The first sessions starts March 27 at 22:31:08 and ends at 23:52:08. The second sessions starts on March 28 01:56:19 and ends at 02:09:20. The machine was off between 23:52 and 01:56... your desat was around 1am... you were not under CPAP at the time. Easy to tell just by looking at the Flow and Pressure graphs... they're off during the big desat. Not only was the machine off, you were wearing the mask... guaranteed to be restricting your breathing.

I'm guessing you have Auto Start/Stop turned on (the picture does show Smart Start ON) and your machine decided to deprive you. I always recommend turning both of these off... it is a garbage feature that is useless, there's a button on top that works much better.

Anyone else with a better guess?

I absolutely see what you’re saying now. Sorry I’m very new to all the reporting so trying to learn as I go . Crazy to me it’s doing that.

I have messed with every single setting trying to figure this out except that one. I will turn both of those OFF tonight and update with a new report tomorrow

Can’t thank you all enough for your help

This is not the first time I've seen this happen... typically folks wake up with the mask off and wonder why? When we get a look at the graph we see... the machine decided *no soup for you*. Let us know how it goes, glad to help.

Sleep and O2 report from last night. Oxygen is much better which is great

Still waking up feeling tired and with a headache. Anything I can tweak to better optimize this?

I use AutoStart on my AS10. It turns the machine on when I start breathing, and turns the machine off every time I take off the mask. Typically, folks take off their mask, and then their machine stops.

And the machine did not go on strike! Some desats around 3am and 7am.

When you post your Oscar you're zooming in... harder to correlate the O2 with the Oscar. You had a nap early in the day... you can turn that session off using the checkboxes at bottom... this makes it easier to analyze session-by-session. The advantage of a recording oximeter than can import to Oscar shows here as well.

I think you're needing more CO2 in your life... all those CA's say that to me. I'd start by removing some PS, just a suggestion... try a night at PS 2 perhaps. If you upload to SleepHQ we can zoom in and get really geeked out... share a link to a recent night, like this:

https://sleephq.com/public/f6eb9007-ee0 ... b91cd3878f

Note how you can click and drag and zoom in. Note this is a free service! If you pay you get more perks.

It did not! Which was awesome. I think I had that issue in the past too! Ah I see, I will just isolate the night sleep on the next post. Are you saying there is a way to upload my oximeter into OSCAR or I need a certain one that is compatible

I will lower the PS to 2 tonight and try that and report back, will also upload the report to SleepHQ as well

Thank you for your continuous support and have a great day, will update again tomorrow :)

You might want to be using SleepHQ sooner than later and go check out those flagged events for evidence of awake/arousal breathing flagged events before you start worrying about making changes to reduce centrals (or whatever).
Reducing PS won't help if those are awake/arousal flagged events.
You might be chasing your tail.

Also....when you reduce PS your aerophagia issues may come back.

So be careful that you don't make things worse trying to do something that won't work anyway.

I just signed up and uploaded my data. Here is the report from last night:

https://sleephq.com/public/52b46591-611 ... 5c0f08811e

Ever since starting therapy I still have never felt rested in the morning and that's honestly my second biggest issue behind the aerophagia

So....you woke up feeling rested BEFORE you ever started cpap therapy???

The bulk of your flagged centrals (CAs) are arousal/awake breathing related. To reduce the centrals you are going to have to work on the staying asleep thing....and to be fair I know how that is easier said than done.

Those arousal flagged events seem to be spontaneous arousals as well.

No, it was way way worse. I’ve definitely seen improvement but still very tired throughout the day / upon waking

Would messing with the trigger / cycle have any effect on this or is there anything different I could try that you can think of?

I don't know. I don't ever advised someone go screwing around with Ti min though.

Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?

Any other physical or mental health issues that might mess with your sleep quality?

Okay, I have never touched that setting before when playing around with adjustments.

No medications

I have been diagnosed with IGA nephropathy which is an auto immune disease affecting my kidneys. Besides that very healthy, workout religiously 5-6 days a week, 28 years old.
