I just called ResMed about where I can buy a software copy of ResScan version 3.5 that supports MS Vista and the S8 AutoSet II. They gave me three distributors in my area but the guy told me this is a service that I mail my SmartCard into so they run the analyst of my data and I don't buy the software. I told the guy that had I know that I would have purchased a Respironics.
How is it that everyone else on this board seems to have their own software at home for their ResMed xpap's?
I even had a DME supervisors of the sales lady that called me last week from the DME that my sleep center was using, call me up to complain I screwup and shouldn't have got my Apap off the internet. They wanted me to send my Autoset II Apap back and take their regular cpap and their training and services. What is this communism?
What is the truth about ResMed's ResScan Software & Home

Shilohcane, see my "Rant Mode On" thread. This is just one particular example of what appears to be an endemic problem in this industry, in which the manufacturers and medical professionals seem to want to keep their patients as ignorant as possible.
I gave up on trying to get a recent version of the software and got v3.3 from cpap.com.
Tell the person who called you to go take a flying... well, fill in the blank.
