Off Sick

Hi Folks

What are people’s experiences with symptoms so bad that they have had to stay of work on extended sick leave?

I am generally made to feel I am being lazy, but I find it hard to think and decision make half the time let alone physically drained and so stiff sometimes I find it difficult to move. My boss is very supportive fortunately but most don’t seem aware of how debilitating this disorder is including the medical profession. My consultant goes into great detail of how takes a break and has a cup of coffee and has to "get on with it" so I should do the same. Not useful or informed. I was feeling very guilty and questioning ME ect until I got this diagnosis.
