Oldest Equipment Contest

Post by hyperlexis » Sat Feb 23, 2013 8:58 pm

We are constantly discussing the latest and greatest equipment which is cool.

But it would be interesting to ask who here actually has the oldest CPAP machines still running or away in a box in the closet somewhere? If it's not broke....

5-year-old machine? 10? 20? Even older ?????

Lets see some pictures people!

Great idea. I suggest separate categories for oldest operational machine and oldest machine in daily use. Having a museum piece is one thing, driving it to work every day is another.

Here's my 13-year-old Sullivan V Elite (before ResMed). Just start, stop, 5, 10 and 20 minute ramp buttons. Nothing else. Still in great working condition. Now I use it to dry hoses and masks.
And here's the humidifier I have. Old Sullivan cold passover humidifier.

No picture, but I have a very functional 23 year old "Healthdyne-Tranquility" CPAP in my closet that I never use for sleep, but it makes a great hose/mask dryer air supply after their weekly scrubbing.
