So what of you're annoyed.

I'm new around here and agree with Wulfman Den. As a Noob IMO there is information addressed in these Polls that is not addressed in the responses to the repetitious questions that I and many other newbees always seem to ask when we first come here.
I can understand what you're saying.( and Wulfman usually is right ) I think the forum has changed over the years, and this usually does happen with most forums. I remember when I joined this forum in 2006, that a lot of the experienced members seemed to never tire of answering the same questions, often over and over.
Sure, equipment and software, etc. have changed a little over the years, but a lot of the same fundamental problems and experiences are still the same in the quest for learning to optimize the effectiveness of our OSA therapy. Unfortunately, many of us who have been doing this for several years can forget the basic reasons we came to this forum in the first place. So yes, there are many cases that newbie questions may have been answered a little better in the past. Of course we still do have people like Pugsy, for example, who offer invaluable information and problem solving. But it's great that we have the OLD and the NEW, available in one forum. The best of both worlds, I would say.

Gleen the old posts, many have useful info to be had, although some of the so called facts may be now incorrect, and outdated thinking. In the end, we all must sort out the truths as they apply to us.

However, if you DO read the whole old thread and still feel you have valid questions, that weren't addressed in the old threads many answers, please feel to start a new thread, odds are the answers will still be the same that you have already discarded, but even a blind bee finds a flower now and again.

If we stop useless polls, valid posts will be on the front page where more people can read them and get help. Polls are generally, posted as a attention cry for the bored. They seldom have any useful conclusion or reason. Maybe instead of starting polls or voting on them we could pat our selves on the head gently, while saying good boy or girl, you are a great person, then get along with life feeling good!

Just for giggles I went through our recent posting history and in the last 200 postings there have been 3 Polls, 1 of which was an old one and 2 postings about Polls. Looks like another 1st World problem to me.

While you were "gigglen or jigglen", you seem to have missed the point, it's more than about polls, it's about old outdated posts being used to roll new posts off the front page too. Hope math isn't your best subject, last night most of the posts all night were poll and old post bumps, they had replaced 80% of the front page. Jim
