Air leak in Resmed water tank?

Hi,
I have a 2 week old Resmed Air Sense Elite system, I am getting huge leaks every night 12 to 18 l/m. I had very few leaks with my loaner, same make of machine , Air fit p10 mask was fine for leaks with the loaner. Could the problem be the humidifier water tank?

Most likely it's the mask

Resmed displays unintended leak rate, with the normal "leak" subtracted out.
As long as the number is not larger than 24, you are good.
Has something changed?

If you have the correct mask and hose programmed in, and the mask is resmed, your baseline leak (leak when you know your mask wasn't leaking because you don't hear air coming out of it for the 5 minutes it would take to properly graph it) should be 0 or very close. If it is not, you have a leak somewhere in your system. If this is so, the noise from the air flow will be louder than it could be. Check that the air hose is connected securely to the cpap, and not loose. Also, any leak that is coming from a component on the cpap should give itself away by the hissing.
