soclean2 in manual mode only 411

Post by dmoss74 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 4:30 pm

hi,

i just bought a soclean2 last week, and i was using it in manual mode only. once i set the clock, it now wants to run automatically at the default time. is there a way to disable the auto mode? i tried looking at the owner's manual, and that wasn't covered. plus, it's sunday, and they aren't available for phone calls.

anyone know how to do that?

thanks

This may seem like I am being a smart a** but perhaps you could un plug it.

i forgot to mention in the op that i had tried that. i'm assuming there must be some form of small battery that retains clock info. maybe i'll try that again, and leave it unplugged for a couple hours.

edit: i unplugged it right after this post, and just plugged it back in. it did not reset.

the best course of action is to return it for a refund. it doesn't *clean* anything, and according to people that work in the medical industry, doesn't produce enough ozone to actually sanitize anything either.

This gets old... but put SoClean in the forum search bar and see what's been said (very many times). SC is a total scam, cleans nothing (and nothing needs cleaning anyway). The only thing cleaned is your wallet. And stop trying to disinfect the machine. Room air that you breathe all day passes through a filter and a relatively very small amount goes into your nose/mouth to help keep your airway a little more open. Nothing goes back into the machine at any time. It's super clean anyhow so stop wasting your time and money.

If you have not already guessed, most forum members consider SoClean a scam--and anyone who buys one is a sucker.
The flood of late night tv and radio advertising should have been a tip-off.
Legitimate medical devices are not sold that way.
My condolences.

The OP (first time poster) did 'NOT' ask how you felt about his purchase of a SoClean.

He asked a question, and if you didn't know the answer you should have stayed out of his thread!

He was already advised by others that his purchase was probably a poor choice, and you said the exact same thing adding your "condolences" to top it off.

I believe once it is set it does store that and you will always have a time. What I would recommend is to set it for like 3 am when you will be wearing your mask anyway and it would not be in the so clean. It will not run without the mask so once that time is missed you can then just run your timer manually later in the day as you need to.

Just my thoughts

I am sorry somebody's feelings were hurt, but I was not the shyster that sold the useless pile of junk!
Never mind how to use it--IT DOES NOTHING. Take it back or ttrow it away, your choice.

The best way to Punish them is spread the word about the Scam, Then Get your money back if you were Sucked in.

Get past the Hipe, learn what ads are, find out the real truth, not going to be coming from the people that profit and finally.

It this product necessary, and does it do what you are told it does it does.

In the end it's your money to use as you see fit, waste it if you desire, just don't bother trying to convince others here it Gold, we can smell Lead and will let you know in a attempt to enlighten others. Jim
