JoyceOne Full Face mask ?

Post by JeffHarnett » Thu Oct 03, 2019 8:25 am

Has anyone out there any experience or recommendations about the JoyceOne Full Face mask.
I am currently looking at possible replacement masks and live in UK where we seem to have a bigger election of available masks (presumably due to differences in medical authority approval processes/costs etc) but putting out the query to the world as cannot find out much about this mask.

Running my ResMed AutoSense at 14cm-20cm Pressure and always suffering from leaks or discomfort.
I am currently using a ResMed F30 AirFit but have tried numerous others in search of perfection.

This mask is not sold in the US. Mask choice is a very personal thing. We are all different with different shaped faces. What works for me, may not work for you.

Just out of curiosity I pulled it up to look at it and noticed something. In the checklist it said it is good for people who breathe only through their nose at night. I'm wondering why that person would need a full face mask. You may want to figure that out if you are using a full face to accomodate mouth breathing. We do have a few UK folks on the board here. Hopefully one of them might have tried it. If you edit the title of your post to include UK you'd have a better chance of them spotting it. Good luck.

Some equipment is intended for overseas sales only.
Not necessarily better stuff, but intended to support prices/distribution.

Yeah, I saw that as well. I think it was a mistake and they meant to say "for people who don't only breath through their nose at night" or something like that.
