Where can I sell my UNUSED sleep apnea supplies.

Post by RRE567 » Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:33 pm

I’ve posted on Craigslist, EBay, Offer up but not a lot of people are looking, or maybe they don’t know what to look for :?

I have 18 size small Philips Respironics Nuance/Nuance Pro gel pillows & 22 ResMed Air Fit 10 pillows #62931. I’ve tried reaching out to DeepBreatheEasy but wasn’t successful with hearing anything back. Any advice???

Have you had testing to confirm your "cure"?
Do you actually BELIEVE that weight loss can cure apnea?
Wishing does not make it so.
Hang on to your stuff for WHEN the apnea returns--with a VENGEANCE!
Sorry, but that is what tends to happen.
Denial can kill you---if you let it.

I beat sleep apnea...well for now anyways. I lost a lot of weight and used my Dream Station every single night, I got hooked instantly. However, I haven’t used my machine in at least a year and have the nasal pillows that I’m trying to get rid of. I’ve posted on Craigslist, EBay, Offer up but not a lot of people are looking, or maybe they don’t know what to look for :?

I agree with "chunkyfrog". Keep your equipment for when you WILL need it again.
In all probability your Sleep Apnea caused your weight gain to begin with and losing weight doesn't "cure" the Sleep Apnea.
Skinny people can also have Sleep Apnea. It's not always caused by weight gain. Sometimes it's the other way around.

I appreciate the comments. I’m aware that weight isn’t the only issue with sleep apnea, I’ve been overweight all my life & I’m not selling or thinking of selling my machine. Just the 2 types of nasal masks that I’ve tried at a time but I don’t like. So me keeping these for “what if’s” or not keeping them isn’t going to do anything for me. Thanks for the advice though.

You can post it for sale here. I've bought cpap supplies from other users here.

I might be interested in taking some of the Airfit P10's off your hands...

Since you must have got them with your insurance, why not donate them to http://www.reggiewhitefoundation.org/

There is a thread called the great pillow exchange you can trade them for something you are more likely to use or you can donate them to pugsy for her box, she helps a lot of new users who come here that have been given the run around by the DME's.

I don't think a box would do it...I think Pugsy must have a room filled with donated CPAP supplies

Actually one really big box would do it now. Donations have really slowed a lot since cpap.com now has free mask return insurance on all their masks.

The OP in this thread wants to sell his overstock...not donate it anyway.
Which is why I haven't said anything.

EBay is his best option for replacement nasal pillows. EBay allows replacement parts selling and people are use to using EBay for that.
He just needs to describe them better than he did here and stick a price on it.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I have a unopened box of resmed airtouch f20 full face mask and full mouth cushion, 3 replacement mouth cushions, some filters and some chamber looking thing that I no longer need if you're still interested
