ResMed AirSense 10 teardown
ResMed AirSense 10 teardown
For anyone interested in disassembly of their ResMed machine, either to disable the modem or to deep clean the air path (like, if it is used and from a stinky environment), I made a how-to teardown video that explains how to do this stuff. I hope it's helpful for someone.
Also good for those who are just curious about what's inside these machines.

It's on the same page as the video on how to void your warranty and above the listing on getting it fixed.

Aside from the very low volume, that was a good video.farnsy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 12:07 pmFor anyone interested in disassembly of their ResMed machine, either to disable the modem or to deep clean the air path (like, if it is used and from a stinky environment), I made a how-to teardown video that explains how to do this stuff. He said to try this when you purchase a used machine and there are odors...There would be no warranty on a used machine. Warranty is only valid to original purchaser...

I amend my post to include the cost of the Resmed Airsense 10, that was to be the guinea pig, that possibly fell off a truck!

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 teardown
That is one awesome video!
There is a third pressure sensor cone color black that fits to a white silicon receptacle between the blue motor silicone sleeve and the white silicon humidifier gasket where the humidifier fits in.
This connection allows the sensor to take measurements through the grey tube and its hole that can be seen from the humidifier side.
Those two almost always fit together (because they groove baby) when the "PC" board is in its proper fitting, but it's good to get a voyeur's view on the connection before putting the motor housing back in, and after from the upper left side looking down with a flashlight (with the rear of the machine facing you) to make sure the black cone mates with the white silicon receptacle productively.

I am not quite seeing what you mean, but when I get one apart I will check. It looks to me like the removal/install of the motor housing would be better done with the PCB removed instead of just forcing it out of the way. My Airsense 10 Auto is still under rental/warranty so I will have to find one to take apart and deep clean for somebody else.

Mine Decided to make a horrible noise, and i am hoping i can figure out where it is coming from.
