How do you use the AirFit F30i sizing guide?

ResMed's YouTube video is useless. I can't tell how to actually determine which fit is right. This sizing guide is different than all the others I've ever seen.

It's only to fit the cushion for the proper nose size.

Their instructions to fit the frame size require going to a DME and trying the frames. If you can't do this, google the average hat size for your gender. If you have an average hat size, go with the medium frame, etc.

Gramps is average hat size for a male, and the medium frame fits him.

I love my F30i. Two different charts I used. Fitting Guide and Fitting Template. If you don’t have a printer you could watch a bunch of videos that will help with cushion size. Width of nose and length wise like Pinocchio.

Print the cushion sizing guide out to scale. Cut on all the dotted lines. Observe which size fits best under your nose.

The F30i is in my regular rotation of masks. There is a lot to like about it.

Yes. You need to have a good reason to pick something besides a medium. Like obviously wide nostrils or a small nose for a man.

I printed the template out then carefully cut it out and put it up to my nose as the instructions stated; medium
