My setup. battle born 100 amp hour lithium battery. I monitored it with a Victron smart shunt. what ever battery you decide to get. make sure you get more than enough power you need. if you under size it. it wont last very long.

From what I can tell, the Aircurve and Airsense 10's use the same power supply. If this is correct, yes.

Yeah, if you're OK spending $330 for 7 hours of battery life.

How many hours do you think something like this might last ?

Could we boondock for a 4 or 5 day trip with it ?

The Jackery 500 is loaded with a lot of stuff you don't need. the battery they put in it is only rated for 518 amps. this seems a lot for a cpap that will only use about 90 watts per 8 hours of use. cut the 518 amps in half you will only have half the battery you can use safely if you want this unit to last. for this kind of money. you can do much better and get twice the battery power by going with an 100 amp hour AGM battery. theres plenty of good AGM batteries you can buy today. its all up to you how much you want to spend. 100 amp battery is rated for 1200 watts. cut this battery in half you only have 600 watt battery you can use with your cpap. divide 90 into 600 you can use this battery for 6 days. now you have to have something to charge this battery. solar power is great if you have the sun. no sun you need a generator along with a battery charger to top off your battery. when I boondock I go out for 30 days or more. I have a Renogy 100 watt solar suitcase along with a Victron blue smart 20 amp battery charger. my Yamaha generator supply my power I need for the battery charger. what I recommend for a AGM battery. A 100 amp Vmax for 300 dollars. The solar suitcase for 250 dollars. I use the lithium battery from battle born. this battery cost about 850 dollars. you need the battery monitored too. the smart shunt cost 130 dollars. When I use any battery. I use the upper 30 percent of my battery only not 50 percent.

Sorry, I am keeping ask question since I am not familar with the eletrical stuff....so the battery tender is to charge the 35M battery... resmed conveter is the one plug in to the cpap machine? Do I still need that spillter? Or can be just the 35M battery + resmed converter (is the 12-volt accessory adapter cigarette lighter needed for connecting the converter and 35M battery?) + battery tender?

you need the DC converter. one end plug in to the cpap. the other end goes to your battery. the battery tender or charger, charges your battery. if you plan to use a 35 amp battery. get a 7 amp charger from Walmart or auto store. the plug that connects to your battery comes with clamps. cut off these clamps and have someone crimp on two rig terminals for you. this will give you a better connection to your battery. The market is loaded with cheap battery packs you can buy for 150 dollars from amazon. all you do is plug in and you have power. what I don't like about them. most of them are poor quality. those compact battery packs are nice for people who like to camp on the go with light equipment. this is the most expensive way to go.

You're using a lot of terms that that are going to confuse people looking for information, because you're using them wrong.

"amps" is an instantaneous current flow, it has NOTHING to do with the storage capacity or the amount of power that a battery can supply.

"watts" is likewise an instantaneous measure of power flow, and having nothing to do with capacity, or total power. You don't get charged for "watts" on your electric bill, you get charged per thousand watthours (KWh).

Capacity is defined as watthours, ie, x watts for y hours.

"amphours" is another partial definition of capacity, but you have to know how many volts that specification is made at. It's fairly simple for a lead acid battery which has a nominal voltage of 12 volts, for instance, a 35amp hour scooter battery, times 12 volts gives you 420 watthours. to compare capacity, you *MUST* convert everything to watthours.

The jackery 500 claims to offer 518 watthours. (not 518 "amps" as you allege).

A CPAP uses around 80-100 watthours,

a 100AH AGM battery has a capacity of 1200wattHOURS

The discharge life cycle between the jackery 500 with lithium ion batteries, a 100AH AGM battery and your battleborn with lifepo4 cells are all completely different.

A statement like that needs a time period. Per night perhaps?

My Resmed Aircurve 10 is a 24vdc machine. I use two Duracell 12-35J batteries connected in series to achieve 24vdc.

If you use the Resmed DC adapter, I don't think 12 versus 24 V input matters. Two batteries in series or parallel will double the Wh of a single. If bypassing the Resmed adapter with 24 V, the 3.33 V on the center pin requirement must be dealt with.

No, it doesn't need a time period, because it's a measure of power used over time already. It's right there in the word.

Now, if I'd say "a CPAP uses 10-12 WATTS", then yes, that would need a duration of how long it pulls those 10-12 watts, then you would multiply the hours (assuming 8) by the 10-12, and get 80-96 watthours.

The Resmed DC adapter works on 12-24 volts, it doesn't matter what the machine uses.

You need the 4 pieces I told you in the above post.

1. the battery
2. the battery charger (battery tender)
3. accessory plug/cigarette lighter adapter
4. Resmed converter

You don't need the splitter. You can manually plug the battery into the battery tender to charger it, then plug the battery into the accessory plug to run the CPAP. The splitter just makes is so you don't have to keep plugging and unplugging. It costs $8.
