Hello.
I have used various cpap machines over the last 20 or so years. I decided early on that I did not want the hassle and risk of using the humidification tanks with my cpaps, and basically never used them. I have used room humidifiers instead at times. Anyway, I just got an Airmini and the noise from the humid x system is ridiculous. I cannot sleep with that noise. I would rather just eliminate the cause which is the humid x system. Can I take out that part of the system, and if so, how do I get an adapter or something to make that work?
I'd appreciate any feedback. I have been ok with my current cpap, I was just looking for a travel option.
Thank you,
Air Mini: can I bypass the humid x system entirely?

This will work, I hope. "AirMini Tube Adapter"

Hi marypr2,
I use the AirMini without the humidx and use the Snugell air mini adapter for the mask. There are two options for adapters; one to adapt the airmini to the standard CPAP hose (and therefore mask), and another to adapt the AirMini hose to a standard CPAP mask. I use the latter as I really like the AirMini hose; its very light!
Others use the former to change out hose and mask. Either works well from what I've heard.
You can find both on Amazon and many of the DMEs.
