For several months now, I have had a difficult time in opening up one of my eyes in the middle of the night or in the early morning when waking up. This is starting to alarm me. I know someone who had eye tumors. It's only one eye, the same side that I sleep on. The other day, I added some eye lubricant before going to bed but that didn't make any difference. I have no other symptoms with my eyes.
Has anyone heard of this before?

Maybe it has to do with the eye patch you wear as a pirate during your day job?
Just kidding ...
You may wish to consider going to visit an ENT or eye doctor to see what's up. Some members have had air leak into their eyes via their tear duct while others just have air blwoing into their eye from poorly fitting full face or nasal cushion mask.
Good luck!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Ditto to seeing an eye physician.
Sounds like my experience with dry eye syndrome, which made me a little paranoid about having extra air blowing around; I don't have leaks, but the normal exhaust from the mask adds air currents.
After I experienced a corneal abrasion from my eyelid sticking, I was advised to use Muro128 ointment nightly and to have 6 month follups. No problems since.

CPap and sore eyes
Prior to getting cpap treatment , both my eyes were sore to open when waking. I do see an eye specialist annually due to blindness from glaucoma running in the family. So far no sign or sight of it with my eyes. I have brought this problem of eye soreness to my specialist but he seems unworried by it all. Told me to apply a cloth with hot water to my eyes before bed and after bed, which seems to help , if I could only get into a nightly routine with it.
Since being on CPAP , 1 month, and not sleeping well, I recently tried out an ultra mirage full face mask and my eye has been extremely sore. I'm guessing because of the air blowing upward but I never thought of it until reading your message, but come to think of it the problem is way worse with this mask. I have the mirage swift 11 nasal pillow which didn't give me the eye problem but need to switch to a full face because of mouth breathing. Plus since members are talking about eye pressure problems with the pillow systems, I think a full face would be smarter, if I could only find a comy one.
