buckwheat pillow and swift-side sleeper

I have used a buckwheat pillow for years now, since they quit makng any feather pillows I like. My grandmothers feather pilows were great. I am a side sleeper, toss and turn, both sides, and feel vey comfortable with the swift, and the buckwheat pillow. I stll am not sleeping well but snuggle with the hose, and feel pretty snuggly with the swift sticking in my nose. I am fine with the mask, but am having trouble sleeping. I am a night owl, and I think I have been trying too hard to be a different person with the machine.
i have been focused on the machine (because I was excited) instead of being myself and using the machine as an accessory.

I had a favorite pillow that I wouldn't have dreamed I would part with. But after hearing so much about the Target shapeable pillow, while I was having trouble with the Breeze, which is now in sir cumference's possession, I decided maybe I'd give it a try. I always used a king sized, semi-soft pillow with my king sized sham behind it. By the way, am now using the Swift.
Well, the Target pillow, which normally is $12.99 and I got on sale for $8.00, is great. It is comfortable and will sort of envelope the hose/mask but doesn't make you feel like you're falling into it. It is considered a semi-firm pillow, but really doesn't feel "firm." I find it's not too high or too firm or soft, but just right (sounds like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears). I am really under the belief that it has helped with the non-movement of my mask, which is now my Swift, and has helped to not feel the side with the hose on it when I'm laying on that side.
I love the pillow. And being it is not expensive, even when not on sale, I would say give it a try and see if maybe you'd be more comfortable on that and perhaps it will help get you a better night's sleep.

I also have a little roll type buckwheat pillow that is perfect for side sleeping.
Tucked under my neck on the end I can be very comfortable in my Swift or RESMED Ultima. I also use a temperapedic memory foam type quite often....they are great for colder weather and give good support on the edges. The materials both give a little with body heat and cradle your face and mask.
