hello, i am looking for a full facial mask for sleep apnea that is extra large...all the masks i have used have been sized large.
the large masks don't fit the contours of my face and leak air, making them useless.
the only solution if found was to use a chin strap; that did the job BUT the pressure causes many problems: all of my teeth, at various times, hurt because of the pressure. i wasn't going to lose my teeth because of the mask...other times my gums became very sore....same reason.
i would like to know if any dealer or manufacturer has an extra large full face mask.....the brand is of no importance. i just need an extra-large mask.
thank you for any help you can offer.

Re: looking for an extra-large full-face mask
You might try looking at a 'total face mask'.

The Quatro full face mask comes in a large size (not extra-large), but I think it is somewhat larger than other masks. You can also try calling cpap.com to see what they advise.

thank you very much for the leads to extra-large masks.

Try a Hans Rudolph 7600 V
They only go to a size "Large" but they run VERY large, usually a full size larger than what size you'd get from any other company.
One word of caution, a lot of people have serious leak problems with it. If the mask fits the contours of YOUR face, it'll be the best, most comfortable masks you've ever tried. If it DOESN'T fit YOUR facial contours, it'll be a nightmare! It is definately worth giving it a try, just be sure you can return it if it doesn't work for you.

You won't have that problem with the Hans Rudolph. It sits a little lower on your face than other masks I've tried, so there's no pressure on your teeth or gums. It also has a built in "chin cup", (not a chin strap) that helps keep the mask from moving up.the only solution if found was to use a chin strap; that did the job BUT the pressure causes many problems: all of my teeth, at various times, hurt because of the pressure. i wasn't going to lose my teeth because of the mask...other times my gums became very sore....same reason.
