my room as a air conditioning unit
My room as an air conditioner unit,I am new to cpap using for about a month, keep removing my mask average about 3,5 to 4 hours,at what degree should I set my machine presently it is set at 25C thank-you for your help Andre
Re: my room as a air conditioning unit
Set it for your personal sleeping comfort. You will sleep better when cool but not cold.
I have mine set at 24C plus I am using a ceiling fan. Without the ceiling fan, I would need a setting around 22 or 23C.

Re: my room as a air conditioning unit
You should set your room temp at a temp that is comfortable for you? There is no perfect number it is all up to you.

Suggestions for the best temperature to sleep?
Or are you asking how to stop removing your mask?
CPAP Wiki wrote:Keeping the Mask On at Night
Do you take the mask off in the middle of the night and not realize it until the next morning? This is common. Most everyone will have done this at one time or another. Not to worry unless you are doing it every night and not getting the therapy you need. Some people have resorted to taping the mask to the skin so that the discomfort of removing the tape when mask comes off will wake them and thus break the mask removal cycle. Others have resorted to putting something like socks or mittens on there hands to make mask removal difficult. Eventually you will start welcoming the mask and your mind will stop wanting to remove it and the nightly mask removing will cease or become very infrequent.

Re: my room as a air conditioning unit
I like a hot room, so you don't want my answer.
Room temp probably won't affect your cpap -- except for rainout. At lower temps, you are more apt to have water condensation inside the hose and mask, depending upon your humidifier setting. If you experience rainout, cover the hose or up your room temp a bit and see if that helps.

My room as an air conditioner unit,I am new to cpap using for about a month, keep removing my mask average about 3,5 to 4 hours,at what degree should I set my machine presently it is set at 25C thank-you for your help Andre

Here we take french all the way through school and then lose most of it because we don't get to practice due to the distance.

Re: my room as a air conditioning unit
I tried to say "put socks on your hands". I can speak it no problem but writing is another kettle of poison.
