Swift LT vs Swift LT For Her

Post by jweeks » Mon Aug 02, 2010 9:48 pm

Hi,

Anyone know if there is any real difference between the Swift LT and the Swift LT For Her? The Swift LT runs about $120, while the "For Her" version is $70 at Amazon. I use a medium nasal pillow, and both masks include that size. If they are the same, I'd gladly take the light blue version to save $50.

I believe that the only differences are the sizes of the pillows included (XS, S, M vs. S, M, L) the color of the mask frame (light blue vs. dark blue), and that the "For Her" includes soft wraps for the frame parts that touch the face, which apparently those of us whom are not "hers" don't need.

Replacement part numbers are the same except for the headgear.

My understanding is that the proportions of the LT for Her headgear are slightly smaller than the regular LT. Otherwise they are identical and use the same nasal pillows. If you aren't a male with a big head (, I guess resmed implies that women are not fatheads!) , I'd say try the LT. If it doesn't fit, you can always return it.

The lighter blue fabric on the LT for Her headgear has a definite "camoflage" pattern--not too feminine if that's a concern.

Hello--just to let you know that I have both of these. If you lay the headgear side by side--it is exactly the same size. No difference in that. The only difference is that the for her is light blue in color--comes with smaller sizes of nasal pillows and comes with the little strap covers that are useless. Gotta get the strap covers from Pad- A- Cheek!!!

Hope this helps!!

HA! So it's all just a clever marketing ploy.

I do like light blue better than dark blue

As a male Swift LT user, i do not see any significant difference on the two nasal pillows besides cosmetic. and looks. They both in my opinion would achieve identical results.

Hi,

The LT For Her arrived in the mail yesterday. It is essentially identical, and the light blue color is actually very nice. I ran with it last night, and it worked perfectly. Not bad for a $50 savings.
