Johnson baby shampoo.

Post by Bobby269 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 3:00 pm

I can find a store here that carries Ivory without a scent or Dove. Is there any thing wrong with using Johnson baby shampoo.
I live in San Antonio Texas and if anyone from here knows a store please let me know.

Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer.

Johnson's baby shampoo is fine and they have tiny little travel size bottles that I like when on vacation.

What are you wanting to use it for? I'm assuming to wash your quattro with? You wouldn't believe this, but I use regular zest bar soap to wash my quattro every night, when I wash my face and hands getting ready for bed. I haven't had any problems with it on the mask seal, it still seals ok after about four years or so. The only hard part is getting the area between the inflatable skirt and the more rigid inner liner dry after washing (don't know the technical terms, sorry.) I could describe them as the labia and vulva LOL ;P but don't want to offend.

I'm sure you can pick up Johnson Baby Shampoo at Target or Walmart. You might have to look in the baby aisle rather than the shampoo aisle.

I use Seventh Generation Dish Soap. It is a supposedly "green" product with no added fragrance or colors--important because I have pretty severe allergies to stuff like that. It's reasonably priced at Target and a little goes a long way.

I use the store brand version of "Johnson's baby shampoo" Its very cheap at Walmart or Target and does a great job of cleaning my nasal pillows and headgear. As far as I can tell - it's the exact same ingredients.

I found that Q-tips work between the mysterious double walls of silicone in a micro cushion.
I've even twisted the corner of a kleenex into a rat-tail to clean/dry the space between the walls of my Fx pillows.
Our water is very hard, and calcium is everywhere otherwise.

I realize that this is an old thread. But last night I ran into this. I couldn't find anything suitable to wash my nasal pillows. So I grabbed a bottle of Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath. I thought it would be fine. My pillow turned to slime!! I felt something during the night and I couldn't tell what was going on, thought I maybe sneezed or something and made a mess. When I took the mask off in the morning, I noticed it felt wet. Somehow, it melted the silicone! It's ruined!!

in eight years I've had no problems with dawn, or costco brand dishwashing liquid.

I used either Johnson's Baby Shampoo or the store brand baby shampoo for almost 7 years. Even when I rinsed and soaked the mask, I could still smell the shampoo scent the first night. Then I took Froggie's advice and tried Dawn Essence unscented... the clear soap. No scent at night. Thanks Froggie!

Dawn is often mentioned, so is baby shampoo. I've used Johnson's or the Rite Aid or CVS equivalent for eleven years now on my nasal pillows with no problems. I have oily skin so daily cleaning is essential. I would stay away from the shampoos that have a conditioner in them or any fruit acids.

Most baby products are scented, because babies do not always have a delicate air.
